726	2017年7月26日，ISBER（国际生物与环境样本库协会）主席Zisis Kozlakidis一行4人参观了出生队列研究招募室和出生队列生物样本库，Zisis Kozlakidis主席对广州市妇女儿童医疗中心出生队列建设和运营管理方面取得的成绩表示钦佩，并希望国际上更多的专家学者了解该平台，促成多中心、国际化的合作，利用良好资源造福妇女儿童。 Zisis Kozlakids, the president of ISBER, and his colleagues visited BIGCS. Zisis Kozlakids expressed his appreciation of the effort and achievements on BIGCS establishment and management. He also hope that there will be more international cooperation and research in the future, which will benefit maternal and children’s health worldwide.

61	2017年6月1日，牛津大学研究生Brown Frances在出生队列进行了为期一个月的研究生实习，并完成一篇关于母亲哺乳意愿相关的研究文章，其摘要已获得第十届全球健康与疾病起源（DOHaD）会议海报展示。 Postgraduate student Brown Frances from the University of Oxford did her intern in BIGCS for one months and finished a manuscript about breast-feeding willingness. Its abstract has been already received as poster in the 10th DOHaD conference.

58	2017年5月24日，明码（上海）生物科技有限公司首席科学官Jeffrey Gulcher教授和首席技术官孙洪业教授来访我院出生队列研究室。孙洪业教授向我们介绍了遗传基因组的发展现状及新技术开发，随后Gulcher教授进行了一个关于基因组学和精密医学的讲座，获得了大家的热烈欢迎和讨论。 Chief scientific officer Prof. Jeffrey Gulcher and Prof. Hongye Sun from WuXi Next CODE visited BIGCS. Prof. Sun introduced the development of genetic technologies to our colleagues and then Prof. Gulcher gave us a seminar on gene and precision medicine.

419	2017年4月19日，科罗拉多大学（University of Colorado Hospital）儿童呼吸科Robin R. Deterding教授以及碳云智能首席运营官吴淳博士来我院出生队列研究室参观交流。Deterding教授介绍了科罗拉多州儿童医院肺部疾病治疗的模式及临床研究，双方就此展开了热烈的讨论。 Prof. Robin R. Deterding from the University of Colorado Hospital came to visit GWCMC and BIGCS. Prof. Deterding introduced to us the pattern of lung disease treatment and research in Colorado Children’s Hospital and had a heated discussion on this topic with our colleagues.

313	2017年3月13日，现任伯明翰大学计算生物学中心主任、教授，前牛津大学惠康基金会人类遗传学中心统计遗传学和功能基因组学及肿瘤部生物信息学学科带头人Jean-Baptiste Cazier和伯明翰大学癌症和基因组科学研究所临床生物信息学教授Georgios V. Gkoutos来访我院广州出生队列。 On 13th March, 2017, under the introduction from Prof. Kar Keung Cheng from Birmingham University, who is also a senior advisor of Guangzhou Women and Children Medical Center and Born in Guangzhou Cohort Study, Prof. Jean-Baptiste Cazier，the chair and director of Center for Computational Biology (CCB) in University of Birmingham, which was the core leader of Bioinformatics in department of Oncology, head of Statistical Genetics and Functional Genomics Analysis in Oxford University, and Prof. Georgios V. 220	2017年2月20日，与我院出生队列有长期交流合作的澳大利亚阿德莱德大学妇产科教授Ben Mol在个体患者数据的挖掘及利用方面有很深的造诣，在其本年度的4次来访中，对出生队列同事们在合作课题上进行了指导并热烈讨论了相关的研究方向。 On 20th February, 2017, Ben Mol, who is a Professor in University of Adelaide, Australia visited Guangzhou birth cohort research institute. The meeting was held at Room 610 in Poly Clover. CEO of our hospital Prof. Xia, Dr. Qiu and her colleagues participated the meeting. The discussion in the meeting was mainly on two topics, including manuscript on GDM, prediction of hypertension in pregnancy and preeclampsia. Ben kindly provided several great suggestions based on his expertise.

Woese基因生物学研究所(IGB)中生殖健康计算基因组学课题的主要负责人、美国胎盘协会成员、Molecular Phologenetics and Evolution杂志的主编Derek Wildman，其博士后Priya及其合作伙伴英国伯明翰大学Susanne来访我院出生队列研究室，夏慧敏院长、邱琇主任及同事参与接待和讨论，会议地点在保利610。双方互相介绍了自己的研究领域和近期发展，并就今后可能的合作方向进行了热烈讨论，双方都对基因测序方面的合作表示了浓厚的兴趣。 On 13th to 15th February, 2017, Derek Wildman, who is a Professor in University of Illinois, US, leader of the Computing Genomes for Reproductive Health (CGRH) Research Theme in the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology (IGB), member of Placenta Association of the Americas, Editor in Chief of Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, one of the world’s leading journals in comparative sequence analysis, came to visit BIGCS in GWCMC. CEO Dr. Xia, Dr. Qiu and her colleagues welcomed him and participated the meetings, which were held at Room 610 in Poly Clover. Dr. Qiu introduced BIGCS to Prof. Wildman and they had warm discussion on future cooperation. Both of them thought Genome screening could be an interesting field for collaboration. On 15th February, Prof. Wildman gave us a presentation on “Comparative genomics, Pregnancy and Obstetrical syndromes” on 14 floor of the in-patient building. Over 30 colleagues from 7 departments in our hospital participated.
